17 The More You Know

in Ticket To Heaven

It’s hard to be threatening when you’re in a fishbowl.

You know, it’s scenes like this one that re-establish my love for characters that are innocent and silly, but steadfastly determined to reach their end goal, even if they haven’t a clue about how to achieve it.  Aside from the obviously humorous situations such a character can find himself in, it also speaks of a certain kind of deep-rooted courage and that “pure of heart” quality, qualities I wish I had myself. I’d never throw myself into a situation that I didn’t fully understand, but I find myself sometimes the tiniest bit envious of those who have no fears about flying by the seat of their pants.

So carry on, Marc. You take life by the reins.
